The St. Charles Companies presents a free concert by Eric Scott at the St. Charles, MD lakefront on Friday evening, July 5th at 7 PM. Singer/songwriter Eric Scott, the recipient of four 2012 “Whammy” awards, has performed on numerous stages throughout Europe, Canada, the Caribbean Islands, and the entire United States and enjoys a strong local following. Southern Maryland News’ Joe Norris says of Eric Scott’s latest single, “Where the Water Runs Deepest”, “..a euphonious venture into exceptional songwriting...I can't possibly express in a single column how much I appreciate this CD." He has shared his original music on stage with artists as diverse as James Brown, B.B. King, and Ray Charles to Little Feat, Kansas, The Neville Brothers, Jimmy Buffett, and Keb' Mo'. His latest album, RED, showcases his continued maturation and growth as a songwriter, artist, and performer with 13 original American soul/pop stories all reflective of today's world. Chick-Fil-A will be on hand to sell delicious chicken sandwiches, soft drinks, and other treats. Local artists will have their wares on display, and other food vendors will be on hand as well.
The Sunset Concert Festival is a summer-long arts festival sponsored by The St. Charles Companies. Featuring a variety of local artists and musical genres, the concerts are being held every Friday night through August 30th.

Plenty of free parking is available and concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for seating. Coolers are permitted, but alcohol and glass containers are not permitted. Concerts will end at dusk and all performances are free and open to the public. The O’Donnell Lake Restaurant Park is located at the intersection of St. Patrick’s Drive and Smallwood Drive West in St. Charles, across from the movie theater and the St. Charles Towne Center.
