You can bring joy to children and families in need in Charles County by volunteering and/or donating to the Christmas TOY Connection this holiday season. The Children’s Aid Society headlines one of the largest Christmas programs in Charles County. Working in partnership with the Charles County Department of Social Services, the program assists 2,000 children with Christmas toys and gifts. For this program, Children’s Aid collects toys though donations and Social Services handles the application and scheduling process. During the months before Christmas, Children’s Aid gives boxes out to local businesses and they collect toys at drop off locations. Children’s Aid mans the week-long event and is always in need of volunteers to help set up and even walk clients around as they “shop” for the right gifts for their children.

Set up and distribution of gifts will take place at Peace Lutheran Church Parish Center at 401 Smallwood Drive in St. Charles. Please click here for the donation and volunteer form.
