Farmers Market Grand Opening Celebration Events: June 14

Wednesday, June 11, 2014

From graduation celebrations to family barbeques, summer is the perfect time to try a new recipe. Why not head to the Waldorf Farmers Market to stock up on fresh produce to add fresh, delicious flavors to your pasta salad or burger toppings? In addition to wonderful local farmers, bakers, and crafters, this Saturday (June 14th) the farmers market will be celebrating the grand opening of the summer season with pony rides and balloons for children. Deputy Dogs will be giving away free hotdogs on a first come first serve basis. Additionally, there will be food demonstrations.

The Waldorf Farmers Market is a "producer only" event, so farmers and vendors sell only what they produce. Come and support local farms and bring the kids along. Here is a list of the local vendors that you can find there each and every week between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.
