Free Community Yoga Classes - Healthy Living in St. Charles

Thursday, July 17, 2014

We’ve partnered with our friends at The Studio Cooperative to bring free community outdoor yoga to St. Charles. Yes, every Saturday morning until August 16th, from 9:30-10:30 (am), an all level gentle vinyasa class will be offered lake-side on the boardwalk. If you’ve never been to O’Donnell Lake, use 10400 O’Donnell Place for a navigation system. It’s located next to the Waldorf West Library, Hilton Garden Inn and Boston’s Restaurant.

The class is designed to stretch your body and expand your mind/body connection. It’s suitable for all levels, so whether this is your first class or your fiftieth, we’re sure you’ll enjoy it. Students are asked to bring water and a hand towel. If you have a mat, please bring that, too. If you don’t, no worries as mats are available. Please note however, that quantities are limited though.

Classes will be taught by Sean, who likes to keep things simple, fun and light in his classes. A graduate of the Flow Yoga Center in DC, Sean is also certified to teach kids/teen yoga from Karma Kids Yoga in New York City.

And last, but certainly not least, the class was strategically scheduled to coincide with our Saturday Farmers’ Market, located across the street. What better way to start the weekend than with a free yoga class followed by fresh and delicious goodies from the market?

Download a flier for yourself or to share. For more information or questions, please send us an email. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you Saturday mornings for our free, lake-side yoga class!
