Wednesday, October 5, 2011
Charles County is excited to be the new home of MyDoctor Urgent Care, a new state-of-the-art walk-in medical center. The center is the only community-based, comprehensive urgent care facility in Charles County. It is designed to be a lower-cost alternative to an emergency room visit and to care for patients who do not have a primary care physician or are unable to see a primary care physician in a timely manner.

MyDoctor Urgent Care has spacious and modern facilities and provides urgent care for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries, such as cold and flu symptoms, sore throats, sinus infections, minor cuts, and sprains. In addition, the center offers routine and specially required physicals and vaccinations, on-site X-Ray, laboratory, and pharmacy services. MyDoctor Urgent Care is staffed by board certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and radiology technicians.

This new center is now open at 177 Saint Patricks Drive, Suite 101, in Waldrof, Maryland. It is conveniently open 7 days a week and no appointments are required. MyDoctor Urgent Care accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. More information is available by calling (301) 396-4444 or by visiting www.MyDocUrgentCare.com
