St. Charles Pools Open Saturday!

Tuesday, May 22, 2012

There are a lot of great things about living in St. Charles--walking paths, lakes, neighborhood schools. But one of the best things is our neighborhood swimming pools.
Pools at allof the neighborhoods in St. Charles open this Saturday at 11. Some neighborhoods make it a special day. Huntington neighborhood, for example, has a pizza party planned starting at 4 p.m., along with games and activities for the kids.

All you need to start taking part in the watery fun, whether you live in an apartment, house, or townhome, is a neighborhood pool pass. If you already have your photo I.D. access card and are a member in good standing of your neighborhood HOA (meaning you've paid your annual neighborhood dues), you are good to go; your pool pass is automatically renewed. If you are a member in good standingbut but don’t have your photo ID, you will need to visit your neighborhood center or property management company to get your pool pass.
If you live in Bannister, Wakefield, Hampshire, or Dorchester, call Property Management Enterprises at 301 885 3480 for dates and times you can visit your neighborhood center to get your pool pass. If you live in Gleneagles, Sheffield, Huntington, or Lancaster, contact Maredith Management at 301-843 8111.

There's much more to do at our pools than just lounging by the water's edge. Swim lessons are available at each neighborhood pool, and the Bannister Barracudas and Westlake Waves are both registering kids to participate on their swimming teams this summer. Visit http://www.bannisterswimteam.org orhttp://www.westlakewaves.com/ for more information about these respective swim teams.
